About Us:
Brimington Care Home is located in a quiet village on the outskirts of the large market town of Chesterfield, it is a purpose-built care home with 42 resident bedrooms.
Our dedicated and compassionate care team provide residential, dementia and respite care, as well as intermediate care as an alternative to hospital.
We are seeking a Senior Care giver to join our friendly team, at Brimington Care Home.
We are currently offering 33, 44 hours per week inclusive of weekend work.
Hourly rate: £12.50 – £12.75 (Pay is dependant upon qualifications).
What does the job role involve?
We understand that care roles are demanding, and we are looking for candidates who are able to support our residents to remain active and independent which includes but is not limited to:
- Caring and supporting our amazing residents in their journey with Aurem Care.
- Providing personal care, social support and making impactful and heartwarming memories.
- Ensuring the needs of our residents are met through the use of our electronic care platform “Nourish”
- Work within a committed team member
- Showing positive caring values in all aspects of practice
- To supervise, guide and support a group of care assistants.
- To assist in the planning and monitoring of resident care.
- Assist with care assistant induction programme and Core Training Programme
- Any ad hoc duties to meet service delivery for our residents.
A successful candidate:
- Able to care and support residents day to day living
- Must have previous senior care experience
- NVQ in Health and Social care would be a advantage
- To have the values of making a positive impact

- You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently showing creativity and passion for the work you do
- You will have great communication skills
- You will be able to follow and prioritise tasks and responsibilities
