This is a Temp to Perm role with Hybrid working, at least 3 days at our Reading Office.

What does the job role involve?
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Manage and process Sales Ledger queries
- Answering high volumes of incoming calls and emails
- Sending and reconciling customer statements
- Managing specific customer accounts and monitoring KPIs
- Maintaining Excel spreadsheets
- Ensuring all contract documentation is in place in order to set up accounts and collect cash
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone, email and letter within agreed timescales
- Maintain accurate records of all chasing activityand update fee rates
- Dealing promptly with internal and external queries about payments, ensuring clients / suppliers pay on time
- Regularly making contact with clients and local authorities to ensure all relevant debts are managed as necessary
- Identify changes in payment patterns and propose action to avert indebtedness
- Raise high volume of invoices in a timely manner
- Handle disputed invoices and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
- Provide accurate advice on billing / invoice queries
- Ensure monthly processing deadlines are met as required
- Meet cash and debtor targets set by the Company
- Ensure all transactions are compliant with Company’s’ policies and procedures
- Providing ad-hoc reporting as and when requested by management
- Attending weekly meetings
- First line support to front line staff at the care homes and Leadership team
- To Provide basic cover for other credit control team members during periods of annual leave / absence
- Ad-hoc duties
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 years of experience
- Previous experience within care homes sector would be advantageous
- General experience of prime ledgers – Sales, Purchase and Cashbook is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of Care Home billing systems preferred, however full training will be given.
- Experience within a similar position with a high volume of transactions
- Good attention to detail.
- Excellent MS Office and Excel skills
- The post holder should be conscientious, reliable, accurate and have integrity.
- Must be able to be trusted to work with confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Analytical and logical thought process.
- The ability to work well in a team and also the initiative to work individually.
What can we offer you in return for your hardwork and commitment?
- Full time contract, 40 hours per week
- Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
- Salary: £35,000-£37,500 per annum
- Hybrid working – At least 3 days per week in our Reading office
