About Kettlewell House
At Aurem Care, our core value is simple. We put the ‘care into care’ by using our expertise to achieve and maintain the highest standards of care for your loved one. With our hands-on approach to care home management, nursing care and dementia care, our communities are designed to encourage people to forge worthwhile, meaningful relationships with not only our staff but also fellow residents to enable them to live their best lives.
In addition, Aurem Care is also affiliated with Thrive Senior Living, one of the most highly respected and forward-thinking care operators in the US. Thrive continue to assist us to develop our care environments and ambitious standards of care provision.
Located in a quiet, residential area near Woking, Surrey, Kettlewell House is a 37-bed care home providing residential, nursing and specialist dementia care in a unique, homely setting with a family atmosphere.
Kettlewell House’s care suites are private and comfortable spaces, complete with communal lounges and a separate dining area.
Our residents’ bright and spacious rooms, with their own WC and basin, ensure Kettlewell House is a comfortable home from home. All the suites provide more space than nursing home bedrooms, without compromising on the level of nursing care and support. Residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with small pieces of their own furniture and treasured belongings, to make their rooms their own.
Living With Us
Kettlewell House has a host of spaces in which to relax, dine, socialise and be creative. Daily life is thoughtfully designed to support the mind, body and soul of all our residents.
Our communal lounges are quiet spaces which provide the perfect setting for pursuing hobbies and interests, or for sitting and chatting over tea or coffee. Our separate dining room offers a variety of highly nutritious, home-cooked meals and the home’s caring team has created a family atmosphere, encouraging everyone to eat and celebrate special occasions together. Our safe and secluded garden is somewhere for residents to relax, enjoy a spot of gardening and entertain friends and family.
Our regular residents’ meetings ensure everyone feels part of the day-to-day running of our home. Residents are encouraged to share their thoughts, needs and ideas, promoting a sense of purpose and involvement.
Your Personal Care Plan
Our extensively trained team of experienced registered nurses and carers offer person-centred care based on each individual’s choices and preferences. Residents’ personal wishes are documented in their individual care plans, which are regularly reviewed by both the resident and their family members.
This tailored approach includes not only medical, personal, and dietary needs but also an individual’s likes, dislikes and religious preferences. We take time to discuss these with each resident, and their family members, and we encouraged those who live with us to be as independent as possible, selecting their own daily routines and activities.
