Westbank care home, in Sevenoaks, has introduced a new twist to its Employee of the Month awards by inviting residents’ families to help choose one of the winners for the first time. Westbank Care Home recognised three members of staff for their outstanding contributions during a special presentation celebrating the dedication and commitment of its team. Staff nurse Derrick became the first employee to receive an award voted for by residents’ relatives. Families praised Derrick for the exceptional care, compassion and support he provides to
