A day out to Beachy Head with Aurem Care’s Hailsham House residents

After enduring the recent winds and rain, a beautiful morning graced East Sussex, and the activities team at Hailsham House nursing home seized the opportunity to take some of our residents on a refreshing trip to Beachy Head. The excursion proved to be a perfect escape, filled with breathtaking views and delightful moments.

Beachy head

As we arrived at Beachy Head, the sparkling sea stretched before us, captivating our senses and instilling a sense of tranquillity. Our residents, accompanied by the caring staff, found a serene spot to sit and bask in the natural beauty surrounding them. The sound of the crashing waves and the gentle sea breeze created a serene atmosphere, offering a welcome respite from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

To make the outing even more enjoyable, we treated ourselves to ice-cream, indulging in sweet flavours that brought smiles to our faces. Savouring the ice-cold treats while gazing out at the vast expanse of the sea was a moment of simple joy, treasured by all.
