Residents at a Caterham care home were treated to a spectacular day of music and dancing when two talented young ballroom dancers brought their moves to the home.
Buxton Lodge care home, part of Aurem Care, welcomed Jack and Paishey , who compete in ballroom competitions around the world, as part of a special dance day organised for residents, relatives and staff.
The pair performed a selection of ballroom routines, giving residents the chance to enjoy the kind of dancing more usually seen on the competition floor.
The entertainment continued with popular singer Gav who performed a wide range of dance songs and familiar favourites.
Families were invited to join residents for the occasion, creating a lively atmosphere throughout the home and giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the performances together.
Stephy Mathews, home manager at Buxton Lodge, said: “It was such a wonderful day and our residents absolutely loved watching the ballroom dancers perform, there were even a few tears of joy. They are incredibly talented young people and it was a real treat to have them come along and share what they do with us.
“Gav was fantastic as well and had everyone enjoying the music. There was a brilliant atmosphere throughout the day and it was particularly lovely to have family members joining us.”
