Hillcrest is a residential and dementia care home situated on the outskirts of Frodsham in Cheshire. Nestling on the side of Frodsham Hill, it enjoys beautiful views across the Cheshire Plain. We offer the very highest standards of care, aiming to help all residents to enjoy life as fully as possible.
The home is tastefully furnished and equipped with all the modern equipment required to meet the needs of up to 32 residents. We have 3 lounges, 2 dining rooms, a conservatory and a hair salon, as well as an attractive patio area where residents can safely enjoy fine weather.
Residents are invited to decorate their room with small items of their own furniture and treasured belongings to make it feel more like home.
Our residential care provides a warm and supportive environment for residents who may need extra assistance and companionship in their daily lives. Residents are surrounded by caring staff and fellow residents who become like extended family. Individuals can receive help with tasks such as bathing, dressing, and medication management, all while enjoying the privacy and comfort of their own personal space.

We provide a varied year-round programme of events designed to make our residents’ lives more fulfilled and enjoyable. These include home baking, singalongs, gentle exercise, group crossword sessions, professional entertainers, quizzes, animal therapy, gardening, handicraft sessions.
In addition to this, we also have strong ties with groups, charities and schools in the area, holding many fundraising events.
Finally, for regular communications, we also have an iPad that residents can use to access the internet, and we have set up a dedicated e-mail address so that relatives who live some distance away can write here.

FundingFrom the start we were made very welcome, it is not a bit like a medical establishment but more like visiting a good friend’s home. The resident’s every need is catered for with love, respect and dignity.
The meals are well presented with a good variety and choice. Residents are encouraged to join in stimulating activities, entertainers are invited and also animals visit. They celebrate special occasions and have lots of little treats.
They also enquire about the well-being of their visitors. Would be hard to find anywhere better. We are truly blessed.
