Roaring Success as Local Biking Group Visits Westbank Care Home

Residents at Westbank Care Home in Sevenoaks enjoyed a wonderful afternoon when local biking group Widows Sons, West Kent paid a special visit to the home with an impressive collection of motorcycles.

Residents were eagerly waiting outside and could hear the bikes approaching long before they arrived. As the riders made their way up the drive, they were met with waves, cheers and plenty of excitement from those gathered to welcome them.

The bikers generously gave up their afternoon to spend time with residents, taking the opportunity to chat about their motorcycles and share their passion for biking. The visit sparked many fond memories, with several residents reminiscing about their own experiences on two wheels. Among them were former motorcycle owners, a resident who had enjoyed riding pillion in years gone by, and even a former bike mechanic who was delighted to see the range of bikes on display.

The visit provided a fantastic opportunity for conversation, storytelling and connection, with residents enjoying the chance to relive cherished memories and learn more about the bikes and their riders.
