Residents at Buxton Lodge Care Home in Caterham recently enjoyed a fantastic trip down memory lane with a lively 1960s-themed celebration full of creativity, entertainment and great food.
The celebrations began with a colourful tie-dye workshop, where residents designed and created their own personalised pillowcases, embracing the vibrant spirit of the decade. The fun continued with a special 60s-themed live show featuring classic hits that had everyone singing along and reminiscing about cherished memories from years gone by.
No celebration would be complete without great food, and residents and team members enjoyed a delicious summer BBQ, providing the perfect opportunity to socialise and enjoy the warm weather together.
One resident commented: “What a great show – I can’t get the songs out of my head. The food was amazing.”
