Residents, families and team members at Buxton Lodge care home, in Caterham, enjoyed a magical Disney-themed day, complete with decorations, music, afternoon tea and plenty of themed treats.
The home was transformed with colourful Disney decorations, creating a fun and nostalgic setting for everyone to enjoy together.
The celebration included a Disney tea party, with delicious food and refreshments for residents and their guests. A singer also joined the event, helping to bring the theme to life through music and entertainment.
The event was warmly received by those who attended. One resident shared: “Thank you Charlotte, I really enjoyed myself. The music was lovely and the food and atmosphere was great.” A family member also commented that “the music was just right for the theme” and described the afternoon as having “a great vibe.”
The team at Buxton Lodge also enjoyed being part of the celebrations. Dee, one of the carers, said: “Thank you, I really enjoyed myself.”
