A resident at a Kilburn care home marked his 95th birthday in style with a celebration filled with family, laughter, magic – as well as a dog that stole the show by driving a miniature car!
Don Kent, who lives at Kilburn Care Home in Kilburn, near Belper, part of Aurem Care, was joined by generations of his family, fellow residents and staff for a memorable birthday party to celebrate the milestone.
The home was decorated for the occasion as guests enjoyed a delicious buffet and birthday cakes before being treated to a magical entertainment show that kept everyone laughing throughout the afternoon.
Residents and staff joined Don’s family in singing Happy Birthday before he was presented with his birthday cake and enjoyed celebrating the special occasion with those around him.
